What types of documents can the CT2000 Authenticate?
 
The CT2000 is designed for authentication of banknotes (currency), only.  Many of the world’s major currencies are available as software that can be installed onto the unit, for example, US dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Hong Kong Dollars, Japanese Yen and more.

How does the CT 2000 work?

The CT2000 is an automatic banknote authenticator. The CT2000 mechanically pulls the banknote being tested through its testing area, where it utilizes Infrared and visible light to evaluate the printed quality of the note and to “read” certain types of Machine-Readable Characters printed in both visible and invisible inks.  The CT2000 also reads and deciphers magnetic characters.   After identifying the type of note, the CT2000 confirms that the length, width and thickness of the note are correct

What environments can the CT2000 be used in?

The CT2000 is designed for use in high-volume transaction environments. Once a user becomes familiar with feeding bills into the CT2000, they will be able to test up to 35 or 40 bills per minute.  Although long-term continuous use of the machine requires that the CT2000 be plugged into an A/C outlet, the included Lithium battery does allow for use of the CT2000 remotely, in locations where no power supply is available.

What comes with the CT2000 when I buy it?

In the package you will receive:
• The CT2000 Unit, with Lithium Battery installed
• A/C power cord adaptor
• USB Cable. The cable is not needed unless/until you need to install updated software. For example, when a new-design banknote is released
• Owner’s Manual

The CT-2000 units are warranted to be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Supplier's limit of liability under this warranty is to repair or replace the product at Supplier's option. Consequential costs such as, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of time or freight charges are not covered. Any product that has been abused, altered, tampered or incorrectly operated is not covered. Product finish is excluded from this warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied.
